The phrase “fear not” is used over 300 times in the Bible.
The Bible also tells us that those who trust in the Lord do not have to worry or be afraid.
God is not the author of fear! Fear is putting your faith into the “What if’s” of life rather than God.
Did you know? A baby is born with only fearing two things…fear of falling and of loud noises. This means that we have created our own fears.
There are 4 common fears in life:
- Fear of the unknown
- Fear of loss
- Fear of failure
- Fear of rejection
There are 2 truths we can learn from our biggest fears:
- What I fear reveals what I value the most.
- What I fear reveals where I trust God the least.
Wow! That makes you stop and think, huh?
How can you lose the spirit of fear? Trust in His Word and who He says you are to Him.
Focus on Him.
Trust Him.
He will light the way for you and show you His plans for your life.
“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you a hope and a future.” ~Jeremiah 29:11
