Hi there and welcome to Ginger Reflections! I’m so glad you stopped by. Allow me to introduce myself….my name is Chelise and I’m the ginger and author of this blog. Yes, I have a unique name…one that is a hybrid of my cousins names: Cheryl and Lisa. Let’s just say my mother had a creative side. Anyway, back to my story….I’m 40ish, an only child and a native of Virginia Beach. I am a huge animal lover and was blessed with a German Shepherd for 12 years. His name was Rudi. He went over the rainbow bridge a little over a year ago but his paw prints will be on my heart forever.
I created this site to share my life experiences whether it be travel, hair and makeup, my faith or just general thoughts on the growing pains and pleasures life has to offer. I love to write and I’m a social butterfly so I hope to make new friends along the way.
